Fashion is creative, seductive, always changing, and a form of art. To Jordanna Leah Hardy, fashion is a form of expression; a way to make a statement, while also being functional and serving a purpose. Inspired by minimalism, fantasy, film, and the ability to fill a need, she is passionate about all aspects of technical production and design. A graduate of Blanche MacDonald Centre’s Fashion Design Diploma in 2012, Jordanna launched her signature line Avalon as a labour of love for quality, longevity, and classicality with a hint of theatrics in Fall/Winter 2012-13. Since then she has worked in design and production in many areas of the garment industry, from athletic apparel to bridal.
Originally from Prince George, BC, Jordanna is currently living and working in Vancouver as a freelance apparel designer and production specialist. When she is not designing, illustrating, drafting, or sewing, she enjoys yoga, foreign films, and copious amounts of tea.
